James Wild has been transforming scrap metal since 2009, beginning as a blacksmith's apprentice in Cornwall. His distinctive award winning style is born out of the brutality of his process, which is contrasted and balanced by the purity of his subject. James works to create moments of reconnection, to his deep source of inspiration - the Wild.

'Henheadhow', Trewithen Gardens, Cornwall. The most ambitious project James has taken on to date. Henheadhow stands taller than a double decker bus at over 5 meters and is made from reclaimed metal collected from the land in which it stands. It is a monument of renewal and a celebration of generations past, present and future.
